Best Ways To Use Buzzies

Want to know how to best use your Buzzies to join the #BuzziesRevolution?  Here are some ideas that can help you maximize your benefits from Buzzies.

  1. Decide where you want to wear them.
  • On each wrist secured with wristbands
  • In each pocket, sock, or tank top strap
  • Clipped on to your belt or pocket

For discrete use, we recommend not using the wrist option as others can hear the buzzing if on your wrists.

  1. Decide when you want to wear them.
  • Preventitively- in the morning for 15-20 minutes while you are getting ready for your day
  • In the moment- turn on for a few minutes or the entire time while

o   having a heated discussion

o   thinking of something upsetting

o   feeling stress

o   having a hard time focusing (homework, work, etc.)

o   watching something disturbing

o   feeling a stomachache, headache, or stress-related pain

o   while public speaking or performing

o   during tests

  • After a stressful event for as long as you would like to return to a calm baseline
  • To promote sleep for 15-20 minutes before bedtime

  • We received our Buzzies just over a week ago. They have helped all 4 of us! Our son has high functioning autism. He uses them at school. He has a phone, so he can control when he turns them on & off. He had a pop quiz one day & said the Buzzies really helped him calm down. He is 13 & in 7th grade. His Teacher Consultant & school social worker also have the app, in case he forgets his phone.

I have used Buzzies to calm after a very suddenly busy day. My husband used them to help with sleep. He was yawning within 10’minutes! Our daughter, age 14 with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, has used them to calm & focus when she has been very dysregulated. She was not happy to be told to hold them, but after a few minutes, she was happier. She told me thank you for making her hold them.
